You can't call San Miguel a holiday resort but it does have some excellent facilities for the tourist. The beach of San Miguel is perfect for a young family as the sand is soft and shallow as well as being protected from the worst of the Mediterranean conditions by the large horse shaped bay that the village sits in. As a result of it being protected there is an array of water sports on offer including pedaloes, windsurfing, sailing or water skiing. You can also make arrangements for scuba diving trips from your San Miguel holiday apartment or town house.
If you are into a little strenuous walking the pine clad hills around San Miguel beach are the perfect place for this exercise. Another walk from your San Miguel holiday apartment or town house is the coastal route to the Can Marca Caves which was many years ago a heaven for smugglers where they would hide there swag.
