If you are looking for something more active there is a nautical centre in Vinaros where you can find equipment to rent for just about any water sport you can think of. There are also tennis courts, football pitches and swimming pools available for something to do on land.

You can always find something to do in the evenings as the night-life is considered lively but not rowdy, don't pass up the beach bars as they are to be enjoyed by one and all. Now down to what makes Vinaros famous all over the world, the humble king prawn, known as ''Ilagosti''. You can't leave Vinaros with out trying at least one of these delicacies to be washed down with a glass of local wine.

The Vinaros Fiesta or carnival is celebrated in February. This is when you need to be here as the streets are filled with procession's and people in fantastic costumes. There is food, drink and live music on offer with street dances that carry on until the wee hours of the morning. The festival of the King Prawn does nothing more than celebrate all things prawn and normally occurs around the second week in February. This festival is normally quite busy so booking your holiday villa in Vinaros would be agood idea.
