Villamartin is located on the southern part of the Costa Blanca in the Orihuela Costa. The construction of this urbanization began in 1972 and has grown to be one of the largest tourist destinations on the Costa Blanca. You will never be short of something to do in this area especially since Torrevieja is only five minutes down the road. Villamartin is home to the world famous Club de Golf Villamartin with its sister course, Club de Golf las Ramblas de Orihuela, is just ten minutes down the road as is Real Club de Golf Campoamor. With in a five minute drive is a number of Blue Flag beaches including La Zenia. Here you will find apart from sunbathing, scuba diving, windsurfing and much more. There are plenty of local markets within a short drive and as a matter of fact there are markets on nearly everyday in the area. If this is not enough then make a trip over to Torrevieja where you will find the Habanaras shopping centre where you can shop till you drop.
