Ibiza Town is the administrative centre of Ibiza and it's here on the coast that you will find the best Ibiza holiday villas. There are a lot of hotels in Ibiza but if you want to live like the natives and get the best out of your holiday, one should stay in an Ibiza holiday apartment or villa on one of Ibiza's beaches. Sant Josep (San Jose) is located in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia the largest of the five municipalities on Ibiza but is known more commonly as just Sant Josep. Not only is it the biggest municipality, it also has the most beaches and coves on its 80 km of coastline, which is what makes Sant Josep a popular holiday destination. Secluded coves, crystal clear water, wide beaches, natural parks and excellent cuisine found only on Ibiza, what better recipe for a perfect holiday.

San Antonio is the place to party with hundreds of bars, pubs and outlandish nightclubs. Not only can you party all night, but the next morning awake to the lovely beach fronted by a long wide bay with shallow waters where it is safe to swim or just sunbath. San Antonio is the largest and most exciting resort on Ibiza. The town is a maze of little streets just waiting for you to explore or just sit and relax at one of the terraced cafés and watch the world pass you by.

Santa Eulalia is located on the south eastern side of Ibiza and has the smallest number of tourist even though some of the best beaches are located here as well as a nudist beach and salt flats. There are a number of towns located on this side of the island including Santa Eulalia, San Carlos and San Vicente along with an abundance of wild countryside.

There is more than enough to keep you busy on Ibiza, all you have to do is look around and you will find all of the water sports you could wish to participate in with back up facilities to make your holiday that much more enjoyable. There are also boat trips, adventure sports, family fun and villages to go sightseeing and shopping in. Don't forget about the night life which is on offer in abundance on Ibiza and the reason most people take a holiday villa on the island.

There are many other holiday destinations on Ibiza also such as San Agustin which is a bit inland so you can enjoy the countryside as well. San Miguel is another town to enjoy as you can enjoy other apsects of Ibiza with lovely mountain walks and exploring. While there you can also visit Sant Joan de Labritja. Jesus is a great place as it is a bit peaceful but only a short distance from Ibiza Town and Beach Area itself so you can party and go home easily to your holiday villa. In all, Ibiza has much to offer one on holiday, sun sand and beaches or a hike into the mountains.
