Costa Tropical unlike its neighbour Costa del Sol is just as picturesque with beach side holiday rentals except that it is less crowded. The jewel of the Costa Tropical has got to be Salobrena with its 10th century Moorish castle and sugar cane plantations that surround it, with its whitewashed buildings it makes a great picture along with its magnificent beaches. Located just 45 minutes from Granada, Salobrena is a great place to have your holiday home which can be used as a base to explore the rest of the region. During your stay in Salobrena visit Iglesia de Nuestra Senora del Rosario, the 16th century church built on top of an old mosque. You won't have to look far for something to eat or drink as Salobrena is full of bars and restaurants with the freshest seafood and fruits on offer to tempt your taste buds. For entertainment there are concerts, plays and films available all year round and don't miss the fiesta season as it is one of the best in the area. Things to do in Costa Tropical- GranadaYou won't be short of something to do on a day out from your holiday home. There is the sandy beaches with all of the water sports you could ask for including required back up facilities. Otherwise you can relax at one of the many pavement cafés where you can eat, drink and do nothing. Water attractions are a great way to entertain the family and Granada has a number of them including Aqua Tropic and Aquaola. Why not take the ferry from Andalucia over to North Africa for something totally different. If it's night life you're after make a trip over to the Costa del Sol as they have top class restaurants and very loud karaoke bars, casinos, clubs, pubs, Spanish bars, discos, flamenco shows and if that is not enough, just venture out as there is much much more.
