Golf in Costa de la Luz La Canada was the first public golf course on the Costa del Sol. It is located in a raised part of Guadiaro, a place with proportionally the highest number of amateur golfers in Spain.

The extension to the course, which currently forms the first nine holes, was designed by the architect Dave Thomas. The designer of the second nine holes (previously the first nine) was Robert Trent Jones.

Golf in Costa de la Luz Lomas de Sancti Petri is located on the highest part of the beach area known as La Playa Barrosa. The golf course was designed by champion golfer Manuel Pinero, and was developed by Target Engineering (Target Ingenieros).

The golf course can be described as a smooth, flowing course of 18 holes with winding fairways, challenging sand and water hazards, and ample, well manicured greens, surrounded by tropical gardens all set within a forest of pines.

Golf in Costa de la LuzDesigned by the Dutch architect Alan Rijk, the golf course is located on the coast of Chiclana, in a space of 80 hectars, approximately 5 minutes from the Hotel Meliá Sancti Petri and the beach. It is 6257 m long; PAR 72, 5935 metres for male and 4826 metres for female players, enclosed in a natural surrounding and the beauty of the typical Andalusian villages. The course is of medium difficulty and has a great amount of obstacles: two lakes, two small streams and protected natural resorts.
