Festivals are a big part of the Spanish life and Girona is no exception. The busiest period is mid-may when they celebrate the Temps de Flores a giant carnival where you will find parades, street dancing, live music with food and drink on offer. The most important fiesta is the Patron Saints Day of Girona, St Narcissus, this is celebrated for a whole week around the 29th of October.
