Our guest house is situated at the rear of our own property at the same time being completely private. We live in the delightful typically Spanish village of El Altet. El Altet has the great advantage of whilst being traditionally Spanish it is but a 10 minute drive to the more touristy areas of Gran Alacant and Santa Pola and the city of Alicante being a mere 15 minute drive. On arrival at Alicante airport you are a mere 7-8 mins from our house and can be in the pool within 30 minutes of landing!!!! In our village you will find various bars and taparias and for those of you that prefer life at a faster pace can go into the above mentioned towns for the more usual karaoke bars and later nightlife with a great selection of restaurants and traditional english fare. The beach of El Altet is one of those undiscovered gems in the Mediterranean where the numbers are low, the beach is clean and unspoilt and the sand gently shelves into the warm waters of Spain. |

Located approximately 15 minute drive away is the golf course 'El plantio' which is a 18 hole par 72 golf course ideal for the novice and more experienced player alike. Buggies and manual trolleys are available for hire. Fee's are available on request and tee off times can be arranged with transport and introduction to the club and its facilities. Also available a par 3 nine hole course.
Surrounding areas
From our village of el altet, buses are easily available to either Santa Pola or the larger city of Alicante. From Alicante buses go on further up the costa blanca to Benidorm where you can find Spains equivalent to Disneyland Paris...Terra Mitica and the fabulous water park Aqualandia and Mundomar.At the beautiful marina in Alicante varios trips can be booked on the catamarans and boats for sight seeing trips around the coast.Car Hire recommended.You can organize this in the uk or we can do that for you in resort.We do not supply a washing machine,however fo 10 euros we will wash and return your clothes to you,or for 20 euros wash and iron.If you decide that you dont wish to hire a car we can provide a taxi service at reasonable rates.
Golf

Also available a par 3 nin hole course. A 20 minute drive away will bring you to the new Alendra golf course, and as we are only 10 minutes from Alicante you will find more golf on offer there. A 40 minute drive will take you down to Orihuela for more golf courses.

A Deposit of £100 for each week booked is required to reserve and confirm the booking. The remanding balance is due 8 weeks before the departure date. All monies are non-refundable. The guest house is available at 11am on the day of arrival and must be vacated at 10am on the day of departure. As a security against any damages or loss of the keys and electric gate gadget, £100 per week is requested on the day of arrival, this will be held and on the day of departure pending return of the keys and the house and pool being in the same condition as the day of arrival this will be refunded. Please note that only the people in the party that are named in first instance are permitted onto the property.
There is a safety gate available on request that will be fixed to the main entry door. The pool is completely fenced off with a locking gate to prevent unnecessary worry with little ones. Also at the poolside is a shower.Please note that the boilers are fitted at the rear, outside of the houses. We live in a very peaceful location but close enough to all amenities, we strongly recommend car hire due to no street lighting for the evenings |
