The nearby La Sella course (partly designed by Jose Maria Olazabal) is 18 holes, par 72 with a further 9 currently under construction. The course is challenging, and beautifully located in wonderful scenery at the foot of the Montgo Mountain. Lessons are available at the golf academy; there is a shop and a bar/restuaraunt overlooking the 10th tee. The 18-hole course at Oliva Nova is a short drive away. Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, this is a par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120 and many water obstacles. In Javea there is a 9-hole course, with 2 putting greens, driving range, tennis courts, and swimming pool with a paddling pool for young children. Further afield there are many good courses in the Alicante and Valencia area, all of which are within driving distance. |
