    CALA MILLOR - PLANNING has gone ahead to create a bicycle path to connect the beaches of Cala Millor and Sa Coma for this coming summer. The mayor of Sant Llorenç, Mateu Puigros, has pushed for this idea with much enthusiasm as he believes it will not only be attractive to neighbours and tourists but will also create three months of work for 20 labourers.

  • Hikers Found with Hypothermia Symptoms in Mallorca 10 Mar 2010 | 10:49 am

    MALLORCA - A young German couple were found in the early hours of Monday morning after being missing in the Tramuntana Mountains for 24 hours. The hikers were due to arrive at Can Boi Refuge on Sunday evening, however they became disorientated in the Es Teix region and had to spend the night out in the freezing temperatures. A search party was sent out immediately, only to have success at dusk on Monday evening. The couple were sent straight to PAC in Soller where they are being treated for hypothermia symptoms.
