L'Ampolla is in close proximity to the nature reserve of Delta del Ebro and can be found in the Catalan area of Spain. If you are looking for a sleepy little Spanish fishing village, then this is the place as it has remained the same over time. The village is situated on the northern entrance to the Natural Park of Delta de I'Ebre. Here you can find an amazing array of not only bird life but that of wildlife. If you are a walker or cyclists you want be disappointed, what with all the trails and tracks available here to explore. This is all made possible by the closeness of the Delta del Ebro estuary to the village.
When you enter the town center you have got to remember why you came here in the first place because it may not be as interesting or appealing as you may have expected. Having said that, It remains a typical marine town with amazing views due to its location which is along a steep coastline at the north part of the village but it tends to level out to the south towards the Delta. The Arenal beach is a great place for the children, as it has calm protected waters with a shallow egress, it's just a fantastic place to play and swim.
