Islantilla Resort:

The Islantilla Beach and Golf Resort is ideal for those looking for culture, relaxation on the beach, or perhaps a golfing break. This resort is dominated by its blue flag, long and sandy pine and dune lined beaches. This newly developed resort on the Costa De La Luz - 'Coast of Light' is the result of a philosophy combining relaxation with activity, known as 'Active Leisure'. This part of the Spanish coastline has been used by the Spanish for many years, but is new to the UK. It is often referred to as 'Spain's best kept secret', but is more widely known as the 'Spanish Algarve'. However, it is much more relaxing than the Algarve, and it is unlikely that you will find any discotechs here, although there are plenty of restaurants and cafe/bars to indulge yourself with during your stay.

Location: Islantilla

s a coastal resort which is nestled between the towns of La Antilla and Isla Cristina, with the charms of Lepe only 4km away. The resort has so far escaped the spoils of mass tourism, and its beautiful beaches form part of the 128km of golden sand that stretches from Tarifa, the Southern most point of mainland Spain, to the Northern town of Ayamonte, on the Spanish/Portuguese border. This stretch of coastline is surrounded by pine trees, natural beaches, nature and conservation areas. Faro is the most convenient airport to use in order to travel to Islantilla and is only a 45 minute drive away. Seville airport is the closest alternative, being about 75 minutes away.

Travel Information:

FLIGHTS The nearest airport to Islantilla, is Faro in Portugal. This is less than a 1-hour drive away. Seville airport is an alternative option which is approximately 1.5 hours away. The airports of Jerez and Malaga are other options that may be considered. CAR HIRE Car hire can be pre-booked, so that your vehicle is waiting for you at the airport. Please call us for a good competitive company. AIRPORT TRANSFERS Should you choose not to hire a vehicle, we will be happy to help arrange transfers for you.


The Islantilla Golf Club is open to members and non-members alike. This spectacular 27-hole championship golf course is presently being extended to 36 holes. It has an abundance of facilities which include a driving range, pitch and putt facility, swimming pool, showers, sauna, as well as buggy and golf club rental. The club was host to the Spanish Open Golf Tournament in 1995, and in the year 2000, was recognised by the presigious Golf Digest magazine as being in the top 100 category of best golf courses in Europe. There are also at least 5 other golf courses within a 30 minute drive from Islantilla. This is a superb championship golf course which is uncrowded, and offers excellent value compared to its neighbouring rivals in other parts of Spain and Portugal. Discount is also available.

When booking, we can provisionally reserve the accommodation for you for a 24-hour 'no-obligation' period. This will enable you to book your flights & arrange your car hire. Prices are based on maximum occupancy of four to six persons. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded with additional guests, then we will charge an extra £50 per person per week for these guests. Childrens cots are also available for hire. We require a £100 security bond deposit payment when booking. This damage deposit is fully refunded once the house manager has inspected the accommodation and the keys have arrived back to us in the post. Full payment is due within eight weeks of arrival date. Booking forms, address and directions are provided to you once a booking has been confirmed. Changeover day may be flexible, as is the duration of your stay. Rental rates may differ for public holiday periods.

* We have a managing agent in Islantilla who maintains the accommodation at all times. They are contactable 24-hours/day in the event that you have encountered a problem. The accommodation is non-smoking. However, smoking is allowed on the terrace. Standard time of entry into the accommodation is 14:00hrs. However, if no guests have used the accommodation on that day, then this may be flexible. Guests must also vacate the accommodation at 10:00hrs, but once again this may be flexible dependant upon the potential arrival of new guests.

The accommodation will be immaculately presented with freshly made beds and a full compliment of household towels for your arrival. The property will also be cleaned upon your vacation. Any additional cleaning that you require during the course of your stay is charged as an additional cost.

We will provide you with a free 'Guest Welcome Pack' containing tea, coffee, milk, water, wine, etc, just to get your holiday off to a good start.
