Local Amenities

The La Sella Urbanisation includes a 5-star Marriott Hotel with Spa, restaurants and a challenging 18-hole golf course. Within walking distance of the apartment are horse riding stables, tennis courts(with coaching available)bar, restaurant and pizzeria, supermarket and pharmacy. The Urbanisation itself is quiet and well-established. All of the local facilities of DENIA and JAVEA are a short drive away, with their innumerable bars, restaurants and beaches.

Golf

The Costa Blanca is an ideal golfer's destination. The nearby La Sella course (partly designed by Jose Maria Olazabal) is 18 holes, par 72 with a further 9 currently under construction. The course is challenging, and beautifully located in wonderful scenery at the foot of the Montgo Mountain. Lessons are available at the golf academy; there is a shop and a bar/restuaraunt overlooking the 10th tee. The 18-hole course at Oliva Nova is a short drive away. Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, this is a par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120 and many water obstacles. In Javea there is a 9-hole course, with 2 putting greens, driving range, tennis courts, and swimming pool with a paddling pool for young children. Further afield there are many good courses in the Alicante and Valencia area, all of which are within driving distance.

Everything one could want from a holiday apartment, plus a whole lot more besides......

This penthouse apartment is presented fabulously; with everything that you need to make your holiday as comfortable and hassle free as possible. It has to be one of the most relaxing places to holiday in that we have visited and would recommend it everytime.

The coastal view from the balcony cannot be overstated and 'gets you' every time you wake up. The very large balcony is a great space that we used for dining and relaxing throughout our holiday. The hot tub jacuzzi is a brilliant bonus and ideal to chill out whilst watching another great sunset with a glass of wine or cerveza!

The apartment itself is presented to an extremely high standard with all the facilities and equipment that you could possibly need. It is fitted with state of the art air-conditioning which is a god-send on occasion to combat the heat from the great weather that you can expect to enjoy, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.

The pool and other communal areas are superbly maintained and presented. We made use of the pool pretty much on a daily basis. Whilst in a communal area, it was tranquil by the pool, with ample space and shade in the event of other residents or holiday makers also enjoying the sunshine.

There is a restaurant, bar and local shop within 5 minutes walk whilst other supermarkets and amenities are only 5/10 minutes drive away.

You will need a car on your stay but then have the ability to enjoy plenty of lovely beaches and towns locally to explore as well as the nearby mountains. Denia is the nearest largest town and the port area is superb, offering a wide range of top quality restaurants and bars in one area.

The website is accurate in terms of its description of the apartment and facilities. There is also within the apartment itself a visitor’s book and other information that contain lots of experiences from others that have visited that you can then also enjoy. A great idea!

We would whole heartedly recommend this apartment as a fantastic place to stay and enjoy a truly relaxing holiday for all the family. You will not be disappointed.

A fantastic apartment fitted to an extremely high specification in a great location with superb views.

A great base from which to explore the local area. There is plenty to do for every age group from just relaxing by the pool or on the beach to walking in the nearby mountains.

If you like golf then you wont be disappointed the near by La Sella course is a challenge to any level of golfer, its beaten me on more than one occasion!!
Also the Spa at The Marriot gives sanctuary to those seeking a more relaxing time.

A wide range of cuisine can be found locally, supplemented with some excellent wine of the region. There is plenty of choice but the local seafood is hard to beat.

If you are looking for a hassle free relaxing holiday then this apartment will certainly provide you with one and we look forward to returning soon.

We visited at the end of October 2009 and were fortunate enough to have unbroken sunshine. As a result we were able to make good use of the pool (though we were always the only ones there) and enjoy the local beaches where the sea temperature was ideal. The location is perfect for visiting various different beaches and local towns. The website accurately describes the wide variety of places to visit within easy driving distance. The owners have provided a visitors book in which guests have given advice upon restaurants, beaches and attractions worth visiting. We followed a number of these and were not disappointed. A car is essential but the road network is easy to navigate.
The apartment itself has clearly been furnished and equipped as a home from home for the owners and has everything one would ever need and more-even a box of beach equipment on the balcony.
The balcony is spacious and has tremendous views to the coast. The hot tub is a lovely bonus. The communal areas are very well maintained and the pool is super. The listing description is accurate but it's hard to describe just how well equipped this apartment is, or what a peaceful location it is in. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.
The La Sella complex has a number of permanent residents which aviods the out of season "ghost town" feel that many other complexes on this stretch of coastline have. The restaurant/ bar and shop 5 minutes walk downhill from the apartment seem to be open all year.
I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to any of my friends or family. The 70 year old member of our party enjoyed it just as much as the 3 and 5 year olds.
