GENERAL - THE MAIN HOUSE AND THE GUEST SUITE
Finca Francesca is superbly situated in a lush wine growing valley. It offers peaceful, comfortable accommodation in two parts of a Spanish Finca (farmhouse) beautifully restored to give luxury modern living. The magazine Valencia Life featured Finca Francesca under the name "The Magician's House" and calling it "a most charming and stylish home". The seaside port of Javea is only 3 miles from the house. The town and area boast excellent restaurants (visitors find it hard to believe that one can still dine within a mile of the house for a fiver including wine!), sandy beaches, rocky coves and a wide variety of entertainments. Benitachell is nearby. Tennis, golf, green bowling, go karting, bridge clubs etc etc are only minutes away! Contact the Owner

Javea Information

Javea is situated on the most easterly point on Mainland Spain at the northern end of the Costa Blanca, approximately 100kms from Valencia and 90 kms from Alicante. The coastline has scenic rocky coves, wonderful beaches and dramatic cliffs. Javea has been voted environmentally near perfect by the World Health Organisation and boasts 320 days of sunshine a year! Javea can be divided into three main areas, the Old Town, the Port and the Arenal.

Old Town. This is the ancient town centre steeped in medieval history which has largely been preserved throughout the centuries. Here you can wander through the maze of narrow streets and small plazas. The Gothic fortified church of San Bartolome dominates the centre of the town. This building dates back to the 15th century, half religious half military. At the side of the church is a beautiful Neo Gothic building which houses the indoor market where you can buy local fresh produce daily. The colourful outdoor market takes place every Thursday in the market place.

The Port. This was originally a fishing community but has now become one of the main tourist centres of the town. Here amongst the modern buildings you will find the ancient quarters of narrow streets with the simple whitewashed fishermans houses. It is a lively bustling area with many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Just the place to sit and sample the local wines whilst watching the fishing boats bringing in the days catch. From the heart of then port rises the majestic structure of the church of Our Lady of Loreto with a roof which imitates the hull of a ship. The modern Nautical Club at the marina has facilities for all forms of water sports.

ACCOMMODATION & FEATURES - THE MAIN HOUSE

The accommodation is all on one level. Three delightful bedrooms, one master bedroom with bathroom decorated in the Moorish style. Second en-suite double bedroom overlooking a pretty courtyard. The third twin bedded with bathroom ajoining.
Kitchen: country style equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Microwave: hob and electric oven. TV room with satellite TV. Fabulous sitting room, with interesting features, overlooking the pool and garden.
Walled courtyard providing sun and shade (with barbeque area and fishpond). Steps lead down to a lower pool area with ample sunbathing around an 11x6m swimming pool. All set in almost an acre of land, semi-surrounded by pine woods.

ACCOMMODATION & FEATURES - THE GUEST SUITE

Two double bedrooms - one with two single beds - including fans, hairdryer and plug-in electric insect repellents.

Reception and living room (with satellite TV)
Kitchen & dining area (with gas cooker, grill, microwave, cafetiere, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, ironing board & baby's high chair). kitchen & dining area. Looking from Finca Francesca to the pool. Central heating. Antique beams, hand thrown quarry tiles and antique wall tiles. Private courtyard (with a lovely olive tree and many Mediterannean plants).
Beautiful swimming pool with sunbathing area. Sunbeds, swing seat, portable barbeque, clothesline, all linen (please bring own beach towels!)

* Contract Of hire, all bookings are accepted by the owners and are subject to these conditions which are deemed to be accepted in full by the hirer and all persons in the party on completion of the booking form.

* Confirmation, Your booking is only confirmed on receipt of your deposit as per clause 3 of these conditions.

* Payment, Your booking must be accompanied by your payment of 30% of the total cost. The balance, with out further notice, to be paid a clear 12 weeks prior to arrival. If your booking is made 12 weeks or less before arrival date it must be accompanied with full payment. If the final payment is not received by a clear 12 weeks prior to arrival then the owner will consider the hirer in breach of contract thereby cancelling the booking.
